Rectangular sacrificial zinc anode
For highly corrosive industrial application
Corro Guard -BRI are anodes specially designed for highly corrosive industrial applications. They are used in concrete to prevent further corrosion. Anodes are surrounded by alkali-activated mortars. Once installed or fastened to the reinforcement steel, the zinc core corrodes and protects the reinforcement steel.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is Corro Guard-BRI and how does it work?
Corro Guard-B is an anode used in concrete structures to prevent corrosion of reinforcement steel. It operates based on the galvanic series principle, where the zinc core corrodes instead of the steel, extending the lifespan of the structure.
Where can Corro Guard-BRI be used?
How is Corro Guard-BRI installed?
- Cleaning the reinforcement steel to remove rust and loose mortar.
- Soaking anodes for 15-20 minutes before application.
- Tying anodes to reinforcement steel with proper electrical conductivity.
- Ensuring correct spacing (varies based on corrosion levels).
How does Corro Guard-BRI compare to other corrosion protection methods?
Unlike traditional coatings or cathodic protection that require external power sources, Corro Guard-B is a self-sustaining galvanic anode. It is cost-effective, maintenance-free, and offers long-term corrosion protection without external energy requirements.
